RESEARCH HIGHLIGHTS
The latest human clinical study on
CardioTrim® studied the effects
of the proprietary CORE formula™ (found within the CardioTrim line)
on various parameters for weight loss and cardiovascular health. The
double-blind placebo-controlled study tested 123 overweight or obese
individuals over the course of 8 weeks. The obese subjects were divided
into three testing groups: CardioTrim plus diet (2100-2200 calories per
day), CardioTrim without diet, and Placebo group who also did not
follow a structured diet. The study protocol called for the subjects
who were taking the CardioTrim CORE formula to take one capsule
twice daily, and the placebo group took a placebo pill twice daily
as well. The data findings for the weight loss parameters are as follows:
Weight Loss
Our latest research on the CORE™ formula as it relates
to obesity and weight loss shows that obese individuals lost an
average of 8.1- 17.8 lbs. over 8 weeks. A key component within the
CORE is Cissus (CQR-300) - a patented
Cissus quadrangularis extract which has lipase inhibiting
activity indicating it helps block the absorption of fats. During
this human clinical study, “fat burning”, or fat metabolite excretion in
the urine, increased by 11.8 percent. The CORE formula
demonstrated significant, beneficial effects on reduction of body
weight, decrease in Body Mass Index (BMI) and fat metabolism in test
subjects. Study subjects lost an average of 8.1 pounds and as much
as 17.8 pounds. Both Cissus and
AlbumaSoy™ (our proprietary soy albumin extract), help increase
serum serotonin levels in obese subjects, providing a mechanism for
appetite suppression and prevention of binge eating. Overall, the
CORE formula found in the CardioTrim line of supplements can help
reduce body weight, reduce BMI, and increase lean muscle mass.
