Soy Labs Receives Grant from USDA
Soy Labs LLC has been selected to receive a $150,000 grant from
the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to launch their
CardioTrim® line of nutritional supplements. Soy Labs is one of only
171 applicants from 42 states to receive USDA funding. The award
money comes from a $14.6 million USDA Value Added Producer Grant
program.
“We are proud to be the recipient of this grant and to introduce
our CardioTrim line to the public” stated Soy Labs President Ryan
Schmidt. “Soy Labs is dedicated to providing the public with the
most advanced, scientifically supported supplements. We use a
proprietary CORE™ formula that is specifically designed to
enhance
heart health and promote weight loss for overweight or obese
individuals.”
The Center for Disease Control and National Institutes of Health
have declared obesity and cardiovascular disease the two fastest
growing health epidemics in U.S. history. Currently, two out of
three American adults are either overweight or obese and one out of
every four suffers from some form of cardiovascular disease.
Soy Labs CardioTrim products are formulated to address the
underlying aspects of these major health and wellness concerns. Soy
Labs produces and markets nutraceutical and functional food products
using only clinically researched and highly bioavailable
ingredients. Their flagship line, CardioTrim, contains cutting edge,
research-validated ingredients such as
AlbumaSoy™ and
Cissus (CQR-300)™.
In addition to focusing on heart disease and obesity, Soy Labs is
developing supplements that will target other leading health
concerns such as diabetes,
osteoporosis,
menopause, cancer
prevention and aging. With its strength in coordinating efforts in
the research, development, manufacturing and commercialization
fields, Soy Labs dedicates itself to improving the quality of life
for its customers through innovative nutritional products.
